Lots of official news from Apple today. Here is the shortlist
- Steve Jobs will be doing the WWDC 2011 keynote address on June 6th at 10.00 am Pacific time [press release]
WWDC 2011 topics:
- The much rumored iCloud will be demoed. Is it just another Spotify + Mobileme 'Castle' or is it more?
- iOS 5 what's new, a preview is expected
- Mac OSX 10.7 aka Lion demo is expected
Also, we expect the announcement of some defined and updated iPhone 4, now nicknamed as 'iPhone 4S'. see last post HERE.
Well there is more news today. Apple has released iWorks for iPhone and iPod [press release]. Till yesterday, Apple's counterpart of 'ms office' and 'open office' only runs on the iPads and Macs. Today iWorks, which consists of the apps Pages, Keynote and Numbers are all three available on your tiny iPhone or iPod screen. Rumor: Is there some connection between iWorks and iCloud? Could it be that you can save your iWorks files in iCloud automatically and retrieve the files from any other device connected on internet. Let say a combination of Google docs and a Dropbox interface? What do you think?
You can find iWorks via the following App Store links.
