iPhone News: NEW 2010 iPhone 4 unveiled by Jobs at WWDC 2010 [updated]

WWDC 2010 5200 attendees 57 Countries, sold out in 8 days. 
iPad - selling one iPad every 3 seconds, 5 Million iBooks sold and equals 22 percent market share. iPad is available in 19 countries, 8500 native iPad apps in App Store downloaded 35 million times equals 17 apps per iPad.
Apple support two platforms now, one is HTML5 apps and second are then App Store apps.

iPhone 4 is the name of the new iPhone. Thinnest iPhone ever, made from stainless steel for strength. Now with front camera. Yes video calling over wifi, it's called FaceTime WiFi only. iPhone 4 to iPhone 4. No setup. There is also a kind of a receiver wow! a camera with LED flash. New display called Retina. 326 pixels per inch, 4 times more than ever! 3.5 inch screensize, 960x640 pixels (4x more) 800:1 contrast ration (4x more) IPS wide angle viewing and superb color and...78% of the iPad pixels. Wow the band of the phone is also the antenna's for bluetooth, GSM, UMTS,Wifi what a top notch industrial design. Great! awesome! Battery life is improved yeah! 3G talk time 7 hours, browsing 3G 6 hours, browsing wifi 10 hours, video 10 hours, music 40 hours, standby 300 hours. Apple A4 CPU, same as iPad? Quadband HSDPA / HSUPA 7.2 Mbps down and 5.8 Mbps up, dual mic noise suppression (no jawbone needed anymore??). wifi 802.11n. New Gyro and accelerometer wit 6-axis motion sensing, incredible that all in a small package! Wait there is more - a 5 megapixel camera...WTF... iPhone 4 supports HD Video recording 720p ! sensational. the gap with the bad camera is closed 


with this 720p HD video recording capability. Woooow! And guess what, iMovie for iPhone is there for $4.99 in the App Store....Hmmm some wifi problems in the conference room, also Steve's iPhone 4 demo is affected....
Now over to iPhone OS4, multitasking, folders, Unified inbox and threading, enhanced camera apps, deeper entreprise support. Better data protection, mobile device management, wireless app distribution, multiple Exchange accounts. Exchange 2010 support, SSL VPN support woow! Now it comes, next to Google search Yahoo! and Bing searc is added.
Another news tip from Steve to announce here: the 100 millionth iOS device will be sold this month - Who could ever thought this wold be happen back in 2007 when the iPhone 1st gen was introduced.
Wait... there is another one: iBooks is coming to iPhone 4. Download the same book to all your devices for no extra charge! Goodbye Kindle ;)
Jobs "Why are we doing iAds?" The slide answers: To help our developers earn money! excellent phrase, I love that. iAds is built into iOS4. Apple sells and hosts the ads. Via iTunes connect. Jobs: "So let me tell you some of the brands that will be advertising with us. Nissan, Citi, Unilever, AT&T, Chanel, GE, Liberty Mutual, State Farm, Geico, Campbells, Sears, JC Penny, Target, Best Buy, Direct TV, TBS, and Disney... those are some of the brands." Big names man!
When is it all available? We're going to turn on iAd on July 1st for all iOS 4 devices." Upgrade to iOS 4 is free for iPhone GS, iPhone 3G and iPod Touch. Not all features are supported for the 3G and 1st generation iPod Touch is excluded. Sadly... and how about the iPhone 1st Generation? iOS4 is available June 21st 2010?
- Pricing iPhone 4 - Two known colors White and black. $199 for 16 GB, $299 for 32 GB. Pre-orders start June 24th. Upgrade offer if your ATT contract expires in 2010. (and beyond July?) The 3GS will on sale June 24th.
