Repair Word Documents

Posted: 20 Dec 2009 08:53 AM PST

It happened with my colleague who was working on Word and then saved the file (similar to what all we do) but very next day when she went to take a print of the Word documents, the file was corrupted saying The name or file path is invalid.

And it’s very common to happen, isn’t it? But for these situations (desperate if any) are tools to retrieve the texts of broken files when saved.

Repair My Word is a very light of software that can save them in moments of anguish and sweat. It is completely free, and may resolve some common errors such as:

  • The name or file path is invalid.
  • Word can not open the document.
  • Word can not open the document: user does not have access privileges.
  • Word Document contains unreadable characters.

I hope it will help you and solve the problems with these file types.

Add Amazon Associates Ads on Blogger

Posted: 20 Dec 2009 05:12 AM PST

Google has launched a new option for users of it’s blogging platform, Blogger which will link the blogs hosted there with ads of Amazon to offer its users new ways to make money.

Like Adsense options are available on the tab “monetize”, from which we can easily link our account at Amazon Partner with our blog, with a choice if we want advertising to text-only or text with images.

Don’t get misinterpreted with Amazon ads as any PPC or CPM network, You can earn upto 15% of commission on each product your refer to your reader.

It seems good that a company like Google, which has its own platform of ads (and actually based their existence in online) offer alternative options to its users, even though these may harm their own interests.

You just have to find products from Amazon that have an interest or are related to something we wrote in our blog, because as already said in official post, You should avoid promoting products simply because of the referral fee you might earn — readers may lose some of that trust if they sense your posts exist solely to make you money.
