Nokia Booklet 3G Ultraportable Netbook : Introducing Posted: 24 Aug 2009 08:39 PM PDT
The Nokia Booklet 3G is one of the most anticipated of the year. The news however was in a cave and we couldn’t hear any rumors regarding launch of ultraportable netbook by Nokia. Nokia Booklet 3G ultra portable SpecificationThere’s still some secrecy surrounding many features of this Nokia 3G Booklet. But for now its dimensions point to what today means netbook: a portable manageable steps (19.9 mm thick and 1.25 pounds), with the housing made of aluminum and a screen of 10.1 inches. The latter, according to Nokia, is “HD Ready“, which on paper suggests a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. It is best for visibility in such a small screen, but in any case the item needs to be confirmed in September. Nokia has not revealed exact specifications, but the team said, it will have an Atom processor and Windows operating system. On September 2 we will know the exact versions, but the operating system contrasts sharply with the position of the firm continue to drive Symbian and Maemo Linux. Of course in this news was emerging the alternative of a netbook with Android, and is not necessarily directly related to the Nokia Booklet 3G. It begins to change in points as autonomy, which would shoot up to a maximum of 12 hours and in the presence of an HDMI output for external monitor. This fact leads to assume that the Nokia Booklet 3G will have an above-average graphics in netbooks. Besides the usual Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, Nokia 3G Booklet includes an integrated 3G connection module to connect to Internet via HSDPA and even change the SIM card while the computer is on. Of course, it also carries a GPS receiver to calculate car and pedestrian routes with the Nokia Maps. Release Date and PricesNokia World Event will be held next week when the makers will reveal much more information on its ultraportable, its specifications and, above all, its price and availability date. We have observed that it is unlikely to see it before Christmas, but also by its nature, is unlikely to be too cheap. More info : Nokia
